I think now you are just being rude.
This is a forum where we all have different opinions and views, it's the whole point . If you think that letting a store or any business know that you have not had a good shopping experience with them is 'pathetic', then fine, your opinion and maybe your loss. However, I do feel you are expressing your opinion a little too strongly. Calm down, and don't resort to name calling. I come on here to relax not to receive stroppy, flippant comments.0 -
Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions but i too don't think an email is going to do any good. Next sales are notorious for attracting a different type of customer from the norm. They're usually people with low incomes who are (sensibly in my opinion) looking for a bargain. The sort of people who can't normally afford Next prices but who would like to be able to. I steer clear of the stores when the sales are on and order online if i see anything i like but i would never knock the people who shop there on sale days. You have to be prepared for this, it happens in every store at sale time, at least you can stay away next time, now you know what it's like.0

Oh calm down yourself. I was calm! Can't take criticism of your opinion? Not my problem dear.
Anyway, if you are the type of person to whinge every time you have a slightly stressful shopping experience (who doesn't, from time to time), then I don't want to sully myself by engaging with you further.
Grow up, yes? :cool:0 -
I really dislike Next during sales, it's too manic for me and I'm not sure how genuine their sale actually is.
They often seem to have lots of stuff that's never been in the shop before sale time.
I do empathise with the OP here though:vanillaspice wrote: »The shop was heaving with families with buggies and double buggies, so everytime you turned round you nearly tripped over a buggy. Families were gathering inbetween the racks of clothing just standing around talking so I kept having to say excuse me when I wanted to get to something, and then was looked at as if I was disturbing them.
I do appreciate that, especially during school holidays, Mums often have to take their kids shopping.
It's not the buggies that bother me, it's the standing around chatting when other shoppers are trying to look at things.
It's not just buggies, lots of people seem to do the same in supermarkets, clogging up aisles with trollies whilst exchanging the time of day with people when other people are trying to do their shopping.0 -
What a ridiculous post, you are complaining because the shop was full of people looking for a bargain .... including you !!
What would you like 'Next' to do for you ? , perhaps next time they will roll out the Red carpet and close the store just so you can shop in peace.

They weren't looking for a bargain, they were having family meetings..
I just got a really nice, long, polite response from Next, who went through all of my points and told me who in the Ilford store they are taking them up with. They mentioned the buggie situation and ease of access for ALL customers in their store. They are also sending me a gift voucher for £20 to compensate for the full price item I ended up buying which was on the sale rack. So Next have gone up in my estimation after this very quick detailed response, and I think I rather like being 'pathetic' & 'ridiculous'.0 -
I have to say that the layout on Next is such that there is barely room to move around. Therefore buggies make it almost impossible- and this goes for the poor mums who have to push them as well. We have 3 or 4 Nexts in our city and they all are crammed with small aisles only.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0
