:rotfl:Might as well shut the board down now then.
TBH boils down to "homes are just for living in" (C) 2008.
Easier to "chill" as a "slightly older" poster I suspect.
No, not really. Just different challenges at different points in our lives I guess.
My mother could be described as a classic Baby boomer, comfortably off now in her mid 70's.
Had a conversation with her recently about life and she commented that at her point in life it was now 'nice' not to worry about money any more too much but health fears were now the big worry. Many of her friends are now dying off or getting nasty illnesses.....so, the point I was trying to make (but not very well) was that every decade (in average lifespan) has diff challenges and the random economic circumstances of each decade just have be dealt with as best one can.
Unfortunately, one persons gain is anothers loss usually.
It could have been Thrugelmir who did a great post some time back about different decades and the affects. Someone who 'lost' out in the 70's could have made gains in the 90's for example. I am not referring to HPI, just in general.
Who was the poster on this board that talked about being one of Mrs Thatchers 'Lost Generation'? Very good post......and he isn't 'lost' now.0 -
Naturally Hamish says this with out a modicum of self awareness or Irony. :rotfl:
Purlleeeeees Spamish. You're the biggest one note spammer on the board.
(ok maybe 3 notes).
It is funny how your frenzied claims of trolling co-incide with you being unable to support your own arguments, or negate mine.
two points to me for spotting geneers favourite words for his random sentence generator! I also claim bonus points for geneer, the biggest troll on the board calling someone else a troll! An astonishing lack of self awareness!:rotfl:0
