Correct me if I'm wrong Cleaver, but you've gone to great lengths to clarify your bearish position.

I haven't gone to great lengths to clarify any position, as I don't really have any position. I think house prices will fall over the next few years, at least in real terms. So that's kinda bearish. I'm really bad at predicting the housing market though, so I don't hold much conviction in this. I wouldn't expect others to either.

This forum was an altogether better place when people didn't have a 'position', and they just discussed stuff. Or if they did have a position they could understand and listen to other's opinions in a grown-up way. We don't see any of that anymore.

Whilst of course berating those who are a different kind of bear. Or haven't made the exact same bearish choices as you. Or don't choose to express their bearish opinions in exactly the same kind of bearish way.

Different kind of bear? People who haven't made the exact same bearish choices? Express their bearish opinions in the same kind of bearish way? I'm being completely honest with you geener when I say that I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I'm taking a break from this forum for a while, it's gone mental. See y'all later.

Pity, but seen it all before. Best posters required to take a break due to trolling.

You've noted a number of times that you are in fact bearish on the housing market. You've been very careful to note it in a number of our encounters. I was fully aware of the same.
So you're pal heyman is way of beam (no change there then).

Yeah, and when exactly was this golden period where nobody had a position? :rotfl:Nice try.

This forum is a hidden feature of MSE for a reason. At its not the long term history of reasoned debate.

It was a reference to a Little Britain Character.
And a reference to your apparent preference to attacking those who share you're views than those who don't.

I agree. This thread is a bit mental. A wee sanity break is probably for the best.

    Bye then. ;)

It's like Friends Reunited on here. You find yourself talking to people that you never wanted to see again that you wished you left behind.

Or worse, you find yourself talking to people you never wanted to see again and you didn't even go to the same school.

I agree. I keep reading threads where I don't have the first idea what people are talking about. I'm starting to feel like a stranger in these parts and I've been around this board since before it was a board! Please don't go Cleaver.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Cleaver, I could not agree more with this point. I would happily drop out if you stay if that helps.

Naturally Heyman you meticulously typed that whole passive agressive ensemble without a single ounce of self awareness, irony or Hypocricy.

    In other words...exquisite. ;)

we can also add irony to geneer's forum vocabulary of the words in bold and 'bull', bear' and 'meme'.

we are so proud that he is increasing his word power, we are hopeful that he will reach 10 words to insert into his random sentence generator soon.

interestingly geneer said he had me on ignore and yet I was listed in his 'hate list' earlier. glad to know that my words are not falling on deaf ears and that he cannot restrain himself from reading them.

here are some of those rolly around smilies that geneer loves so much:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

what a treat for him :)

Indeed. A few years ago I thought I might buy a house. I then did.
