This is so tempting, but I need my next order on Tuesday to be Sainsbury's because I want the diet coke on sale. I guess I could set the tesco delivery for a week or so later, and change my products ordered based on the prices at Asda. Or it's still a good deal without double the dif as I usually shop at Tesco (will have to make a new account, hope that's not a problem as I already have more than 1)!

Remember it's not double the difference, just single difference. Making a new account is not a problem. You could get products for delivery on same day but chose stuff that will last like pet food or household. There is plenty to be had in these departments.

    Ah...up to speed now.
I've registered and ordered..not bothered about getting the JTD voucher as I shop at Adsa normally so would have bought at cheaper price anyway, but I have stocked up on Tesco's current offers ..that Asda aren't doing so I think I'm happy with that.
    Thanks OP

My wife did this on our second order. She got 170 products to my 13 lol. She ordered all the baby stuff at penny prices to see if we get Johnson's as subs if they don't have the value ones. If they do, who cares, they are kids they can wash in anything and I certainly will. She wasn't bothered about the JTD vouchers as you rightly put it, we can just go to Asda! I did it because it was an easier way of spending the £50!

I believe there was another thread on product substitutions. Are there any tips before I go and try to order?

Look in this thread. There are many people still doing the JTD vouchers. Some products there.

Also on subs, you can click "no subs" if you want to be sure of voucher. I didn't as I'm not that fussed if they sub it with something bigger and better :D

Oh my Gosh! You peeps are so darn clever. I have never understood the double the difference or whatever and just don't understand this quidco or topcash back stuff.
Hats off to you all for being so clever.
Angels - Tesco must really love you!!!
Going to try and figure it all out later and who knows I may have the luxury of getting my shopping delivered home like the posh peeps next door!
    :)

Tesco hate me, and I'm still one of a few who have been refused DTD on an in-store overcharge by the man at the top. I'm still a few pennies up on them 'ahem', so I'm not fussed :D :money:

And yes, you'll be getting shopping delivered! Do it! PM me if you need any further instructions.

    Same here!
Really dumb question I know but if Asda is cheaper and you get just the difference back why not just buy from there? Is it because you get your cashback with the new sign up? Sorry for being dumb.
Another thick question but surely Tesco can get people to check their prices against Asda so they don't have to do the difference thing. Or does it make them look better?
That's really bad that Tesco's singles you out AngelsM re the DTD.
I am determined to figure all this stuff out today.
Oh and is there a code for free delivery? I'm sure there was a post that was subsequently deleted, earlier, mentioning free delivery today.
Thanks for being sweet Angels and allowing me to PM you :):)

As you've posted here (was it meant to be a PM?) I'll reply here.

The reason I did it was for the cashback, yes. Hence why in my thread I don't mislead people into thinking they can get £50 real worth of shopping. They could of course by it at Asda for £25 ish. I, however, got £25-£20 ish worth of stuff for £8.89 + postage. My postage was £2.50. My wife got her's for £2! I don't think here is Free delivery available.

Don't be fooled. Tesco do check prices. They have thousands of products matched across all 4 supermarkets. The reason these work is because they are short term offers at Asda etc. I could do the same in reverse and find things cheaper at Tesco than Asda. But that wouldn't get me the cashback and voucher :D

    HTH
