I saw this in an email from tcb a couple of days ago and noticed the offer ends tomorrow. However it wasn't clear if you had to receive your order by that date (which would have incurred higher delivery costs) so I didn't bother.

Op, watch out for item prices changing before your delivery on Tuesday as Tesco usually change theirs around this time.

My question is - does the price comparison with Asda take place the date the goods are ordered or the date they are delivered. Asdas prices may change between these two dates.

    Thanks for the heads up.

They take the comparison on the day of your delivery. They compare Asda and Tesco when you actually get your delivery. So yes, in a way, I'm gambling prices won't change before then. I looked at the offers expiry dates on both sites before I placed the order.

If I don't get the £11.11 because it wasn't delivered before the expiry I'll query it. If I don't get it, oh well, onwards and upwards. I'm still getting the £10 1st customer bonus.

And thanks for the heads up on price changes. Tesco normally do there's on Tuesday night at 12 so I should be safe.

Can a price check voucher for an online order be used in a store or does it have to be redeemed online?

    Many thanks.

Oh my Gosh! You peeps are so darn clever. I have never understood the double the difference or whatever and just don't understand this quidco or topcash back stuff.
Hats off to you all for being so clever.
Angels - Tesco must really love you!!!
Going to try and figure it all out later and who knows I may have the luxury of getting my shopping delivered home like the posh peeps next door!

    Ah...up to speed now.
I've registered and ordered..not bothered about getting the JTD voucher as I shop at Adsa normally so would have bought at cheaper price anyway, but I have stocked up on Tesco's current offers ..that Asda aren't doing so I think I'm happy with that.
    Thanks OP

This is so tempting, but I need my next order on Tuesday to be Sainsbury's because I want the diet coke on sale. I guess I could set the tesco delivery for a week or so later, and change my products ordered based on the prices at Asda. Or it's still a good deal without double the dif as I usually shop at Tesco (will have to make a new account, hope that's not a problem as I already have more than 1)!

I believe there was another thread on product substitutions. Are there any tips before I go and try to order?
