Also ... if you move about that much, this time, once you've moved, flatten the boxes you've used and put them under the bed for next time.0

I think you need to consider your time and petrol in going around picking up odd boxes and bits of packaging from shops. Many of boxes are far too big and not suitable. It might be worth buying a large rolls of bubble wrap at about 15 pounds and suitable boxes from a packaging company for a pound a piece and save a lot of time and effort.0

I have moved a couple of times using boxes from McDonalds...their Fry boxes are very strong, good for books and kitchen stuff etc. Never had any problems with stores giving them to me, and they fold flat
