Very widespread. It means the egg can be pasteurised. Caterers are very risk-adverse to serving lightly cooked egg.
Just sounds like they're risk adverse to cooking proper food.

They may be pre-cooked but Morrisons' Cafe omelettes are bloody delicious. I generally have a breakfast omelette and some brown toast. Omnomnom!

I quite like Morrisons cafes. I don't get a big meal in there, but what I've bought has been nice and good value for money, unlike Tesco.

I was in Tesco a while back and wanted a cheese jacket potato which comes with a side salad. They'd ran out of side salad so I asked if there was anything else I could have with it. The lady said 'peas'. Cheese and peas... urgh, no thanks. I asked if I could have baked beans instead. 'Yes' she replied. I asked her if she was going to charge me for them. 'Yes'.

I didn't bother with the potato despite her already plating it up.

And don't get me started on their awful cooked breakfast. I really should have taken it back. No tomatoes, just juice, rock hard black pudding and bacon... I must be a mug for not telling them to shove it.

Didn't the Fast Show have cheesy peas!?

Anyway I have eaten loads of breakfasts in various Morissions, Tescos and Sainsburys and I think Morissions is by far the best.

This is a thread about Morrisons... not Morrissey :rotfl: ;)

Hmm I vaguely recall something like that on the fast show... makes my stomach turn at the thought.

But if you like peas ...

    And you like cheese ...

Why wouldn't you like cheesy peas?
