Keep positive as your time will come! you can see from my signiture the things i have won and i only started Mid May also and average 80-140 comps a day a mixture of facebook/twitter/email and the big ones on here but only for stuff i would like. i have been very lucky so far and my friend who i introduced to it all last month has just begun to see a few wins coming in.
I have 2 small children and look at comping as an evening/lunchtime past time that i enjoy as a change from tv (or the housework!!) a great escapism! Soon enough i will have to cut down when my babies (and hubby!) send me bk to work but for now iam enjoying checking my emails and looking out for the posty!!

Try comping 3 years with no big wins and see how you feel then. The small wins keep you going, guess you just have to be in it to win it.

Several posts from newbies have been seen over the last few weeks, if your are expecting to win and expecting to win a big prize you may be setting yourself up for disappointment, reember how many tens of thousands enter competitions and there is nowhere near that posting on the IWIWIW boards.

7 Weeks is hardly anytime at all, some of the long term compers on here can tell you. I my first 8 weeks i won some books, a few bits here and there which were lovely surprises. in my third month returning to comping I won what I would consider big prizes ebook reader, £500 vouchers, a netbook, drench pack (netbook, £230 boots voucher, years subscription heat, 3months daily graze packs and £50 itunes voucher) and an HTC smartphhone I'm sure there were other big ones in there, BUT those big wins were from purchase competitions. smart phone was from a McCains microchips purchase, drench pack was from a bottle of drench, several benefit lipsticks from flakes, the ebook was from a pack of mcvities digestives, digital poloroid camera from 7up.... it might be worth doing instant wins on facebook and purchase comps if you are lacking prizes as I know I have a low win rate from the ones listed on the main board here.

Like others have said, really. I've won some absolutely incredible things on here and one year it was like a second income. Stick at it and the rewards will come. I do understand where you're coming from though - seen some incredible wins on the i won thread lately and wish I was one of them!!!

I found that comping karma works too. When I post a comp I tend to win. It's coincidence really of course but :P

ive been comping on off for 5 years now and wins are like buses none turn up for ages then 3/4 come at once lol, i win lots of little things and some nice big wins the best was a 5* holiday for 4, i enter 100+aday,
im sure there is loads of wins just round the corner, and goodluck with your new venture

Totally understand how you feel

We all feel like this from time to time, believe me! I feel like giving up most days but then a little win will turn up & it gives you a boost whether its just a bottle of shampoo or a dvd.... I tend to tell myself that I'll never win anything 'big' but keep on entering 'cos you never know'! Over about 3/4 years that Ive been entering via this site Ive won some lovely prizes (best was my 2 tics to see take that), but I do get dis-heartened too... I think its mostly when I read IWIWIW....Don't get me wrong am no way begrudging to people on here that win the likes of ITV cash comps but I think when you read about them & other biggies they do seem to 'jump' off the screen at me and its starts me thinking 'well i never win things like that moan..moan moan...' but keep plugging away & one day it might just be you winning them...good luck and i hope something turns up soon...for all of us )

Keep going! I've only been comping for about two months, and had 19 wins (of which one was a big 'un!) so don't get too disheartened, the next big win is just around the corner.

I've only been comping a few months but been really lucky won a holiday and a fair few smaller things, you just never know tomorrow might be the day when you get a winning phone call or email with good news. Fingers crossed for you x
