Dry food - they took to Orijen straight away but they don't get that now on the advice of my vet.

My two won't eat pate only "in jelly" food. Bozita has a lot of jelly so they now wolf it down. I must say they are doing exceptionally well on it too.

But, sorry, I've never seen it in any shops.

ETA - Zooplus always leave my boxes with a neighbour.

Hi - just curious as to why your vet advised you not to feed your cats Orijen?

Just checked and delivery is free on orders over £19 for Zooplus; it is Pets at Home where the minimum order value has to be £29 to qualify ;)
  • I had to wean them off Felix - they wouldn't touch anything else. I ended up mixing Felix and Bozita together and gradually decreasing the amount of Felix.

I'll try mixing when I get it!:D (Have tried this with dry food but never wet before so here's hoping ......

Thanks all, yes Zoo+ is £19 - Seapets is £29 - why I had thought to try Seapets is they sell all the different varieties of Bozita and you can buy them individually and I thought I could get one of each, but it's £4.95 delivery under the £29.:(

I phoned Zoo+ and asked if they would leave a package in my shed (as PAH, PetPlanet and Seapets will do) and they said "no" - even if I said I'd accept responsibility if it went missing.

Unfortunately most of my neighbours work so couldn't say for certain that they'd be in to take it either:(.

I've got my "basket" filled and ready (£23) at Zoo+, I'm going to try:

    • Bozita Reindeer:eek: & Turkey trial pack
    • Catessy pouches (also do tins) chunks in sauce (hoping the boy will eat these as he'll currently only eat Whiskas)
    • Smilla fish pot trial pack
    • Smilla poulty pot (no trial pack of this for some reason)
    • Catessy pate trial pack
I did look at the Grau but it's more expensive than the Gourmet tins so have decided to hold off on that one!

On hols in a fortnight so guess I'll just have to hang on until then!

    Thanks for all your help!!!

(Once they arrive, I'll let you know if any have been eaten!)

I have recently started mixing Bozita with my two cats' dry food; I feed mostly dry, but like to mix a bit of wet in to get a bit more moisture into their diets. In the past I have fed Almo Nature tins, HiLife, Natures Menu, Applaws etc; these are all fine, but they can work out quite expensive. Bozita comes in huge tetra packs of 370g, which is enough for four full meals for my cats; it can stretch further if just used as a mixer. I also love that the packs fold down when empty and take up little space; tins drive me mad.

My two aren't hugely fussy, and I just ordered the 18 multipack and another 6-pack to get free delivery. They both absolutely love it! I have never seen it in shops sadly, so I too have to order it online. I can't get my dry food anywhere other than from the manufacturer in the 15kg bags that I want, so I have had to resign myself to the fact that I need to get my pet foods in separator orders, lol! It is a nuisance that they will not just leave the parcel if no-one is home (we have a secluded porch that the postie leaves our parcels in) - I had to collect it from the local post office, and I was quite startled at just how heavy 24 packs of catfood were!

Sorry, it wasn't Orijen he advised against just dried food in general. As cats don't drink a lot normally dried food can cause problems for them.

Josky - do they leave it at a post office regardless of the courier? (I know parcel force would but not sure about DHL and it doesn't look like you can choose which one delivers it)?

This could be the answer ......... (fingers crossed)

Of course 24 tins would be heavy!

Get it delivered to work & take a few home every day!

to be honest the cats wouldn't really get any abrasive benefit from feeding wet & dried together! What about feeding dried for dinner & wet for breakfast?:D

Also not an option unfortunately - no personal deliveries allowed:(.

However with around 500 staff in the building, I can understand why there's a ban on them!

My comment was actually light-hearted so there is no need to take a condescending attitude. I have already stated the weights of the individual packs, so I was well aware of the total weight. Like the other poster has mentioned not all workplaces will allow you to take personal deliveries, let alone use the premises for storage.

    Theyre not tins; they're tetrapaks.

Rising From the Ashes - I have only had one pack delivered so far (a bulk pack!) and that went to the local post office. We live about 5 min drive from the post depot as well, so they could have taken it there. I honestly dont know if this would always be the case!
