I was looking for a memory foam one, and was at James Selby department store in London, and saw that they had the Tempur Sensation Lite 150cm mattress for only £630 on clearance!
Not sure if its only the James Selby store in London or nationwide, but they did have two Tempur mattresses on clearance, and said that they had too many at the moment and needed to make space for other mattresses, hence the clearance. It was the shop floor model one though... but it looked like brand new, and the assistant said it had only been there for a few weeks, plus the whole 2 hours I was there, not a single other soul came into the store, so I'm pretty sure there's not much wear and tear.
I was also at John Lewis on Oxford Street and they're clearing out all their display mattresses, as new range coming in about 1-2 weeks time. But they really have been used, and the discounts are only about 30%.... so not really worth it IMO.
Also try Feather & Black clearance store in Hammersmith for ex-display Tempur. I was there last weekend to get a bedstead, and was told that a big shipment of mattresses from their stores were coming in to the clearance centre over the week!
At the moment Primark are selling memory foam pillows for £10.
Ok , they are not branded Tempur, however they are pretty good, we all use them and as a Sports Massage Therapist, I would recommend them!
