I suggest treat it with a grain of salt. I was just scammed in a very minor way...........at lunchtime, Travelex were top of the list for HK$ at 12.381. A bit of a surprise as they are not noted for their generosity. I took them up on it for £500, clicked the link and quickly through it........I was in a hurry and this WAS a Martin's money link.............my excuse! It wasn't until printing out the link I saw the rate obtained was 12.1901...........a commission of 4% and kiss goodbye to £7.50.
It was not exchange rate fluctuations......they did not move more than 6 cents between best and worst in the period. Either your comparison engine is broke in some way, Martin, or they have found a way to manipulate it. Interestingly, they are now 10 or more down the list.
Be warned. But otherwise, a great site with good, honest, sensible advice.

Travelex had a 'happy hour' between 12 and 1 today - maybe you mistimed your purchase just to miss it.0

Thanks DZUG1........I didn't realise "Happy Hours" existed. It must have been around 1pm I ordered, so it is a possibility. Anyway, I need another few batches of Euros and HK$, so I'll be in eyes open mode next time.0

If you didn't opt out of marketing you'll probably get e-mails from travelex alerting you to them0

How often do they have happy hours?
I am looking into Euro's and wondering whether to wait!:beer:0
