Hi Penny,
I hate using the TD too but i always end up using it.
My Mum had a B&B and was therefore washing up to six sets of sheets a day and she NEVER had a TD, washing went out on the line or up on the pulley. So don't know if a pulley is an option? At least it keeps the washing out of your way, that's what i don't like about airers!
Suppose the other thing to do is check if the TD's you look at are A-rated, at least that should be the best one.
Good luck!
Great idea about the jigsaws at the library, i must ask ours. xxWeight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Hi Pennywise, have you got rid of the kids yet?! I wish someone would have mine overnight theyve driven me mad today, just need a little rest from being mummy!!
Re the radiators I always put a load on after tea and then get it on the radiators before bed so its dry in the morning ready to scoop up and sort out later!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks for that mummy, think i need to have a routine.
Off out to a local country show today with OH, minus children which will be nice as i can look at stalls without a small child whinging muuuuuuuuuuuuum can i have this its only £20, muuuuuuuuuum i'm hungry, muuuuuuuuuum my feet hurt, muuum i need a weeee .................................
Done a few surveys this morning, checked ebay, bids are pants:(. Recieved a £5 amazon voucher have spent it already on a new ben 10 lunch bag for DS.
Decided i'm going to kill the bl**dy dog:mad:, swept and moped kitchen, hall and dining room, chucked dogs out side, opened back door to let them back in and the spaniel has just ran through the house with muddy paws, not a little bit muddy up to its belly thick mud, its dug a great big blinking hole in the garden, OH will have a fit when he see's it. Thank goodness i shut the living room door otherwise it would have ran all over my carpet and it really would have been dead then.
Have a fab day everyone, off to mop the floor AGAIN.0 -
Found your new diary
Just read from the start. Sounds like your back on track
Pitty about the TD! We dont have one and tbh im not sure how i cope lol. I do a wash load of nappies every night and then 1/2 loads of clothes a day!! I will use the rads again when heating is on. I also put the airer in the bath so it doesnt get in the way.
Have you decided what to use the tesco vouchers for?? Think im going to go to a sea life center with ours. Kids will like it and doesnt rely on the weather.

M2MG so glad you have found me, not sure about back on track but getting there slowly.
Had a lovely day yesterday, but hardly spent anything which was brilliant, OH managed to blag some free tickets:D, then once in the only thing i bought was some handmade choccies for the kids, they had all sorts of different farm animals, so bought them a choccie pig, duck, chicken and sheep, so they cost me £4 and apart from that i spent nothing, which is so unlike me or maybe i'm a true MSE now at one point i would have been buying chutneys, cakes and craft things, now all i think is i can make that a hell of a lot cheaper:rotfl:, even hubby said to me a couple of times i'm sure you could make that:D.
Did miss not having the kids when we were looking at the animals as thats their favourite bit, but have decided once i'm debt free i want a Pygmi goat or 2, i've loved goats since i was a little girl a lady that lived near us had them and at the show yesterday there was all these little Pygmi goats sooo cute and cuddly and I WANT ONE, even OH agreed they were very cute and if we could move somewhere with a little bit of land i could have one:D.
Ebay items end today, lots of things have watchers but few bids, so don't think i will make much today:(.
Todays plans are housework and try and get some washing hung out, we had glorious sunshine yesterday evening and now its grey and overcast, wish it would make it minds i'm sick of this gloomy weather its August for goodness sake.0 -
Hello Pennywise, sounds like you had a lovely day out yesterday. Could you perhaps have a stall next year and produce some of your baking and jams etc and make some extra money?
Awww the goat sounds lovely xxMummytogirls x0 -
Just popping in for a quick update.
Spent most of the day at a friends house, took our pooches for a walk then back to hers for lunch and the kids played out in the garden.
Have managed to spend £14 in Tesco on fruit and veg, put £12 of petrol in the car, that should be it for spends this week as we are having some quiet days at home.
Ebay items finished yesterday and made just over £25, have relisted a couple of items that didn't sell, but have now run out of things to list.
Went onto Tesco rewards site this morning and found that they do exchange for lightwater valley, had looked last week and coundn't find them, think i must be going doolally, anyway they have been ordered and hopefully we will go some time next week.
Postie came this morning and brought me a nice little parcel from Clipper tea's, contained 10 organic tea bags, 10 green tea bags and 2 coffee samples, so that was nice and have just had an email and recieved a £10 amazon voucher.
Hope evryones having a lovely day.0 -

Hi ebayqueen, glad you have found, hope your well.
Well i've woken up with the mother of all headache, not quite a migraine but feels like its heading that way, did drink coffee yesterday and wondering if thats dne it.
Have paid milkman this morning £7.70, but part from that not spent a penny as not going anywhere.
Made choc crispie cakes this morning with DD, need to make a quiche for tea and if i feel up toit will make a Lemon drizzle cake, noticed bananas looking past there best so may make some banana muffins to go into freezer as well.
Weather is lovely here today so trying to get caught up with all the washing and get it dried outside, still no TD and i've still no lans to go and buy one, reminds me need to go and do meter readings.0 -
Meter readings done - Gas £5.19 and Elec £8.63, not too bad this week.0
