Which recipe do you use and do you use marg or butter, i use mary berry recipe and its fab and it always turns out better if i use butter.0

I use mostly guesswork rather than a recipe, I've never had trouble in the past but generally use whatever butter type spread I've got in the fridge - agree though that butter is best for it. At the moment am assuming it's down to using a shallower dish than previously and an oven I'm still not completely happy with (the joys of rented flats) so I've a deeper dish to try next time I have enough time off to want to try. Will look up the Mary Berry version though, prob won't hurt to follow it for a change. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Very pleased with myself, made lasagne yesteday and had bolognaise left but not quite enough to feed 4 of us tonight, so ive padded it out with some veggies and kidney beans, added a dash of chilli and i'm just waiting for it to cool and i'm going to fill some tortilla with the mixture, bung in a ovendish, cover in cheese sauce and reheat for tea, fingers crossed it will taste yummy.0

Good morning and its PAYDAY:D.
Today will be a HSD, i have already put an order in with approved foods, this is the first time i have ordered anything from them, i registered with them and they sent me a code for 20% off for being a new customer, so have spent £50 with them but seemed to have got loads from them, just a bit worried as i don't know when its going to be delivered and don't really want to wait in everyday next week in case they turn up, hope they send a email or something with a delivery day:o.
Also today i need to go to Tesco to stock up on a few bargains they have at the minute, Sainsburys again for bargains and use the money off vouchers i have that run out this weekend, will use the one that is near to the place were DD is getting her ears pierced:eek:.
Will also nip into boots and check machine for vouchers, will probably buy toothpaste here as i have some points on card, will also pop into LIDl for cheap fruit and veg,
Will fill up with petrol i'm hoping that with me not being at work that a full tank should last the month, especiallly as i have the time to walk to Tesco if we need a few bits (3 miles round trip).
Also need to sort out bits to ebay this weekend as i have had an email to say its a free listing weekend.
Also need to get DS a decent winter coat so may have a browse online in the sales, last year i got a lovely dare2be ski jacket for £15 in the sale, glad i did after the winter we had.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Well back from shopping and spent a fortune but also got some bargains.
DD had ears pierced £28:eek:, but she does look very beautiful and very grown up.
Went to Sainsburys spent £49.38, but did manage to use some coupons off products i normally buy and also used a £4 off a £35 spend and a £4 off £20 spend, thought i was pushing my luck by using both but cashier didn't bat an eyelid and wacked them both through:D.
spent £9.98 in bargain books on a birthday present for DD friend.
Nipped into Marks and Spencers and was naughty and bought the dine in for £10 offer, so thats tonights treat:o.
Did get some bargains in boots, went to the boots machine and printed off several vouchers, so i got
save 1/3 on toothpaste coupon, some toothepaste is current ly 3 for 2, so 3x 81p = £2.43 - 81p as 3 for 2 then took a 1/3 off all 3 so 81p for 3 toothpastes:D.
Save 1/3 on deodorant coupon, dove 1/2 price already so was £1.07 instead of £2.15, voucher took 1/3 off full price= 72p so paid 36p.
buy 2 fruit essence shampoo/condition for £1.50 coupon, 99p each, saved 48p.
£2 off any lipstick coupon, bought one for £2.59, so got it for 59p.
1/3 off bathfoam coupon, 89p -29p = 60p.
Did pay full price for hair colour £3.36.
So got all of this for £7.22 :j bargain.
Also spent £10 in poundland, bought DD/DS schoolsocks, dogtreats, lunch bag and a bin for the bathroom.
Didn't go to lidl will save that for next week, also havn't put petrol in the car as usually get it form BP and its triple points tomorrow and i have a doublr points voucher to use as well.0 -
