Feeling bright and chirpy this morning, its Monday morning and i'm not having to rush around like an IDIOT.
So yesterday my 15 items ended on ebay, only made £19 but ha ho its better than a kick in the teeth and some of the items didn't sell so have relisted those.
Yesterday i gutted DD bedroom OMG:eek:, 2 binbags of rubbish and broken toys and general carp came out of that room, at least now its spotless and have found a few items to list on ebay.
Also managed to get a few surveys done and enter a few comps, not much else was done as the weather was lovely and i sat outside for a bit reading.
So plans for today:
Make a quiche for tea.
walk the woofetts.
Help DD make a cake.
wrap ebay parcels that have been paid for.
Do EVERY survey that comes my way.
Start mucking ou DS room.
Hope everyone has a fab day, off to catch up on other diaries.0 -
Hi Pennywise
I "mucked" out (love it ......:rotfl:) DS room the other day and I don't know why I bothered as its a pig sty again! To be honest its not all his fault as there is a severe lack of storage so this needs to be addressed when we get round to sorting out the kids rooms!
So jealous of your 6 weeks off work as well.
Enjoy your day xxx0 -
Morning choo.
Well i've managed to walk the dogs, do 3 loads of laundry, DW on and deposited son at his mates house, done a couple of surveys and entered a few comps, still building up the courage to enter DS room.0 -
Well i've been and picked DS from his mates and he is now playing football in the back garden, started on his room, will probably finish it tomorrow as both children are at grandmas for the day so will be able dispose of things easier.
Been and put £10 of petrol in car, as it was running on fumes and that was all i could afford, shouldn't actually need to use the car between now and friday.
Milkman has been and paid for a months worth of milk so thats £20 gone.
Also DD is wanting her ears pierced and to be honest i just don't know, if she is going to get them done than it needs to be this week so she has the 6 weeks of the holidays for them to heal, but i can't help feel like this is another step of her growing up i want to keep her little but thats not possible, what do you think guys.0 -

Hi Pennywise
I always remember the same conversation with my Mum, I was 10 and she said I could get them done if I made sure they were turned every day and cleaned them myself with the surgical spirit.
My DD doesn't want hers doing as she's petrified of needles!0 -
Hi Pennywise,
Wow youve been busy today... phew was tired just reading!!!
Well done on the ebay items ending. Ive been considering clearing out DD's old clothes and ebaying ready for their winter wardrobe fund !!
Re the ears piercing how old is DD? Hmmm im really not sure as I dont know how old my DD's will start asking for it doing. I suppose like Choo suggests is she old enough to care for them herself?
I do understand the whole not wanting them to grow up though.. sniff!!!! xxxMummytogirls x0 -
hI, dd is 8 and i have told her she can have them done, we will go on Friday, have explained to her that it will hurt when she has them done and for a while afterwards and thats she has too turn them and keep them clean, but she ia adament she wants them doing. But i havn't told her dad yet, think he will have a fit.
DH is working late tonight and couldn't be faffed making a quiche so we had scrambled eggs on toast instead.0 -
