Hello guys i'm back.

Well as the title states schools out for summer, Myself and the little PWPS have broken up for 6 weeks, was a very sad day as i said goodbye to the year 6 children that are leaving to go to secondary school, had a little cry and will miss them lots, did come home with lots of goodies which are now sat in the cupboard waiting to be eaten, also recieved flowers and some jewellery.

Well hubby went for a new job and was offered the job, only snag is that it was down south, lots of discussions, pootling off down motorway and we decided that yes it was a good job, good money, but it didn't feel right, house that came with job wasn't right and lots of other snags, we decided that even though it would mean we could be debt free sooner as we could rent are own house out and not have to pay rent on house we would be living in that we just wouldn't be happy, so hay ho we are plodding on.

So on the money front i need to hang my head in shame, have over spent this month with going down south twice, petrol, food and hotel:eek:, havn't totted it up so not sure the exact amount and also put some of it on CC:(, really not good.
I have relised that i need a diary though, it does seem to help me stay in control and see were i'm spending money, also with not having the diary i've become really lazy with surveys and have made next to nothing this month.

So as i have finished work for 6 weeks the plan is to ebay everything that isn't nailed down, 15 items listed at the minute, do every survey that comes my way and to keep checking onepoll.
Still to mealplans, do lots of home cooking as i will have the time to do so.

I have done a big shop from Mr T that will arrive in the morning, that should keep us going for a bit, postie brought me some hair remover cream to test from a survey company and i have a pile of surveys i need to go and tackle.

  • Yep hubby still has current job, he applied for the new one as it looked good, fancied a change yadda yadda, but decided it wasn't right, hubby is lucky he is brilliant at his job and there is still quite a lot of jobs in farming, as people just don't want to work the long hours and its also a physically demanding job so need to be fit, its also become very technical so need to be able to use computers etc.

    Yayyyy Pennywise is back :j:j

I've missed your daily updates as well :D

Sorry to hear that the job plan didn't work out but if it didn't feel right it would have been the wrong decision for your family.

Looking forward to your postings :j xx

Welcome back Penny, glad you decided to come back. Sorry things have been a bit let go lately but fingers crossed for getting back on track now. x
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Afternoon hope everyone is well.

Mr T came this morning so cupboards and freezer are well stocked spent just under £100:eek:.

Not alot to update moneywise, have managed a few surveys, ebay is pants, 15 items listed and 3 bids, all end tomorrow but can't see me making more than a tenner.

DD has made Choc chip cookies, off to munch on those and watch Harry Potter:D.
  • Hi Penny, glad to see you haven't disappeared!
Sounds like the right decision to stay put now that your job is more secure and the children are settled, it's so much harder once you are a family that it was pre-children moving. But great for your Dh's confidence to be offered something better paid.

Subscribing and back to the BR wilderness for me - KEEP POSTING!!
