How many people enter comps?

Facebook competitions are where i have won most of my prizes - there was a photo competition on babybjorn uks facebook a couple months ago and there were 5 prizes and only 7 entries - Some facebook ones do get thousands esp if they run for a while.. i figured out from the share codes on the pepsi £300 or tickets comp that there was approx 2500 entries an hour online - i entered at the begining of the hour and at the end and my share codes where 1300 apart - taking in mind the 1300 free entries most people send to their partners accounts and enter straight away.. then there was text entries as well so maybe even as many as 3000 an hour? God knows how some people won 5/6 times on it lol

hi every one a stupid question indeed but i am new to copms so can any one advice where i can enter genuine copms and what are ITV copms and where i can eneter those and where i can find the answers to questions????????

I started entering competitions about 6 years ago and looking at my book of wins my best year was 2008 and each year it has dropped with only a couple of small win this year.

I did spend at least 2 hours a day on entering in 2010 and my win rate was very low then when I increased working hours and less spare time naturally winnings dropped further.

I now enter for fun and only comps that I really want the prize - I cannot afford the time that some of the more dedicated people put into entering (work, children, running a home etc prevent that)

There is no such thing as a stupid question! You can enter comps on this site - if you scroll down the opening page you will see them.

They are all listed with the expiry date, what you could win, a link to the competition and also MOST of them give you the answer.

Register and have a look - you never know what may be waiting for you

OH and the ITV competitions which cover Breakfast, Real Deal etc. are also posted on here with the answers.

just some facts and figures i have from my wins if anyone is interested.

i won a holiday to LA this jan and there were 9,997 entries
i won a holiday to vegas in 2008 and there were 5,000 entries
i just won a trip to venice and there were 2,500 entries for the one i won which was a 250 word effort and they ran a similar comp that was just text in and that got 6,000 entries!

its all about stats really but you cant really dwell on it. if you only do it while you are tapping your foot waiting for a win you might be tapping a while!
