So if you arrive at 9.33 at ST.P eurostar check-in, you'll have 7 mins to get your ticket into that machine, there'll be a queue, are you going to push and shove your way to the front?
the big if, trains rarely arrive on time these days

Did you book a ticket to London International, with the terms of travel including CIV? The conditions will look a bit like this (from my booking on Rail Easy to London Intl to connect with Eurostar to Paris):
High Saver Return to London Intl.
    Description

These tickets can only be purchased on production of tickets for onward European travel.
    Break of journey

    On return only
    Pre-booking requirement

    Reservations

    Cancellation and refund charges

Individual Train Company & CIV Conditions Apply
    Changes to travel plans

Individual Train Company & CIV Conditions Apply

The CIV condtions mean that if your incoming train is late you will be able to travel on the next train (Eurostar) without having to pay any extra.

IMHO you're going to have to spend £110 to drastically improve your chances of making the eurostar train.

09.28 it is supposed to arrive giving us 12 minutes, if there is a queue then we would be fine according to Eurostar, they wont close check-in if passengers are queued at the gates. She checked the train and its now 65% full, she said the fuller the better as it would take longer to process check-ins!

Anyway, I agree with you all I am going to have to pay up the admin fees and arrive at Kings Cross at 9, that will then give us 40 minutes.

    Thanks for your input.

As i said you really should check the advance ticket situation before you pay the admin fee! ;)

Thanks NEH, my fare was booked via East Coast trains, the confirmation states "EC Advance Valid on chosen train only. Non refundable. Changeable for a fee before departure" so lucked out on that one, but thanks again for trying to help.

robpw2, do you mean National Express Coaches? They take just under 4 hours from our local station, be easier to go down the night before!

Thanks Robpw2, I have searched endlessly, cheapest advance ticket yesterday was £55, today same ticket is £74, that serves me right for messing around! East Coast now want £94 to amend the ticket even though they are yet to be printed off!"
