Hi All
Im flying Jet airways to Thailand (via mumbai). I am quite worried about the stories i read to do with having luggage stamped and the lack of time for transfers.
Can anyone offer relevant, current advice (may 2011 onward perhaps) in regards to this procedure.

The recent stories are still awful http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/jet.htm
I'd be tempted to go on a different airline and claim the taxes back from Jet.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
I fly to Thailand every year and have done for several years, with which every is the cheapest, must admit not with the airline you have mentioned, but I have never had any trouble, bags checked all the way through, hand stuff sometime weighed other times not, some times searched other times not.
I never fly direct too expensive, so the stop overs have been ok as well, in various countries, at various times of the day / night.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

Any chance on some info on the actual procedure in Mumbai from getting off the plane up until getting on connecting flight.....
What ive heard is you need to get bags stamped, I dunno if this is just hand luggage or all luggage.
you then need to go to the actual security checkpoint, again any tips here on where to go to get there?
finally the bag is stamped again and your get patted down, bag search and you get through the other side.0 -
