I really like my slow cooker, although I don't use it as much as some will. I think it's a fab invention though.
If you don't fancy prepping before you leave in the morning you can always just cook the meat in there and do some simple veg when you get home if you have frozen. It's great thinking that on a busy day out, when you get home your meal will be waiting for you.
My favourite dish has been Moroccan lamb stew with honey, almonds and apricot.
But, I did read a list the other week of useless kitchen gadgets and was surprised to see it in the top 10, with no mention of the juicer (a gadget I have that I never use).There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
