Cheap Camping

Can anyone suggest a nice campsite, can be anywhere in the uk to go camping with a child and baby need a toilet and shower and some water everything else is a bonus! the cheaper the better please! It will be for over the school summer hoildays. thank you:j

    school holidays is peak season so everyone is going to be pricey (compared with may for example) Have you checked pitchup.com??

  • This saturday in the sun there is an offer for £1 a night camping. I don't know anymore than that but I saw an advert earlier this evening.

  • still no look yet i hate the idea of paying £25 to sleep in a field lol im not looking for the posh ones with entertainment and pubs etc just want a basic one but cant seem to find an option to search for the cheapest :(

    Yeah its not good at £25 trouble is though you are looking at peak times. Try this forum thecampingforum.co.uk and see if they can suggest anywhere, they are all avid campers so must be in the same position as yourself.

    Hi We are going to north yorkshire in the summer holidays, we've found a site about 15-20 mins from Scarborough, I think its £14 a night for a family of 4 -we've not been yet but its got good reviews: http://www.banktopcamping.co.uk/index.php or we also considered this site in south wales which was £12 a night, just too far for us to travel: http://www.windmillhillcaravanpark.co.uk/, both of these are in the summer holidays.
