Rang tesco again tonight and a manager has called back to say that the refund code is with another manager and they will definitely ring back this saturday to refund me.

Its really bad service, considering the credit card you used was with the same company.
Why couldnt someone with a brain call the card department, check they have sent the payment to Tesco mobile, and fulfill your order.
Its not rocket science is it.
Really poor service IMO, and I would want £100 off the phone for the incompetence and inconvenience.0 -
