Birthday present ideas for OH

I am really struggling for ideas for a birthday present for OH, for Monday of next week.
He will be 43, works in finance, has no obvious hobbies. I often buy him books or DVD box sets but feel I've done this idea to death. If I buy him experience type things he often doesn't get round to booking them before they expire. Does anyone have any inspirations? Budget can be flexible but ideally less than £100.
Thank you

Oh, it's awful trying to buy presents for men, isn't it?
Does he read a lot? What about an e-reader/Kindle?
Other than that, I have no idea. My OH always gets me lovely presents and yet I have no idea what to buy him at Xmas/birthdays, he never asks for anything!
I await any other answers with interest!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Make him his favourite meal and give him a night of seduction.

As someone in a similair demographic to your OH I wish people would just ask me what I want, then get it me! this year I'd love a gravy separator and a new set of barbecue tools, but apparently these are "too boring", so I will be getting a surprise instead...0

How about booking something to do together like a spa day for 2, tickets for a show or a meal at a nice restaurant.
If you wanted a small gift my hubby (who is an accountant) loved a mug that said 'I love spreadsheets' http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/10284310.html?&keyword=i+love+spread+sheets+mugBROAD&gclid=CLvsvu6Ck6oCFUwc4QodlE9Jyw0 -

Tried that. He sighed and said he had no idea! I gave my only idea, coincidentally a book on barbecuing to his parents who are similarly struggling!
@Rachel. I think he's counting on getting that anyway
@clw. We do have tickets for the theatre tomorrow booked ages ago as part of his birthday treat, but I do need something for the day itself. I bought him the text of the play we are going to see as an anniversary present.
@barbiedoll. Good idea. He's always borrowing my iPad, so one of his own might be a thought, though its more than I was planning to spend. ETA  just checked how much they cost. A LOT more than I was planning on spending!0 -

Same birthday and similar sounding job as my husband
no hobbies also, except work.
We've got him some niceish cufflinks ( wears them every day ), some nespresso capsules, a few dvd's and books. He's impossible to buy for. We might buy him a few more things at the weekend.0 -
Offer to get him something he REALLY won't want [new hoover] and when he screws his nose up, tell him he'd better think of something quick then.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Get a babysitter and go out for a really lovely evening together.0 -
Why not go to a theme park together? It wasnt my OHs birthday or anything, but on holiday in Cornwall we decided to go to an attraction not realising it was really for kids! got there and looked at each other and then said 'bu99er it' lets have some fun! we are both in our mid fifties, so we did! and it was the best day we had had in years! we didnt care how silly we looked! no-one knew us! and it took care of the pressies for the grandkids - we won most of them!0
