Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Offer to get him something he REALLY won't want [new hoover] and when he screws his nose up, tell him he'd better think of something quick then.

    :rotfl: :rotfl:

Funnily enough he was putting together some new furniture last weekend using a battery powered screwdriver which our builders had left in the house over the weekend (they finished work today and have now cleared all their tools out :T) and I suggested getting him one! I've been told if I do, I'm getting an iron for my birthday in a few months time.

If I get an iron, he's getting a divorce or a vasectomy if I'm feeling lenient, so best not to let things escalate :D

I bought DH a chargable screwdriver one Christmas and he was chuffed with it - he's not really into DIY either but it's been very handy at times :D

BTW it was DH's birthday this week (46 or thirty sixteen as he refers to it!) he had botox on his forehead

I'm really impressed how much difference it has made to the stress marks that I've inflicted on him!!!!! and yes he can still move his eyebrows ;)

See - I'd love a battery powered screwdriver....but woe betide anyone who even thought of getting me an iron.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
