Lynz:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
'Sold' as in you've accepted an offer?
I wouldn't count your chickens until you have the money in your hand as it were, but well done and good luck anyway.Illegitimi non carborundum.0 -
God yes! We sold in 2 weeks, privately, with a total advertising cost of £150 and I thought I was a genius. Three and a half months later we exchanged. congratulations Princess fiona,
May I ask What or who are this conveyancing warehouse? Are they solictors?0 -
Yes they are. Got the info from here. As suggested on here rang round a few and also checked on line and these came back with the best deal. £500 cheaper than a high street solicitor. So fingers crossed all will go well.May I ask What or who are this conveyancing warehouse? Are they solictors?0 -
Well done Princess Fiona! Hope we will be joining you in the not too distant future, just need an offer now! (although to be fair it has been very quiet the last 2 weeks) - damn Christmas!0

It is not all beer and skittles.
A verbal offer is one thing.
Exchanging contracts is something else.
If you "sell" on day one you must wonder "Could I have asked more and got it?"
Seasonal greetings and have a nice year...0 -
And so the seeds of doubt are sown....
We all wonder that don't we? I saw that an identical house to ours was agreed for a grand more at the same time - and it was advertised as requiring modernisation. We were in a hurry to sell and it was a means to an end - if you get enough to be able to afford the next place and you get what you think is a good price then that's all that matters.Stercus accidit0
