What does everyone think of daffodils for wedding flowers?

hey i'm getting married on 26th april 2013 and i really want daff as my flower to be i've been told by a number of folist's that it will be to late to get them and may have to have fake one, but i really want the real thing!!!!!

can anyone help!!

I tend to agree with the florists you have spoken to...daffodils are very much a seasonal spring flower and unless the season is very late that starting that year then it will probably not be that easy to source real flowers...

Some of the small tete-a-tete varieties may still be around at that point but I would guess that a florist isnt going to confirm an order that they may not be able to supply..

Sad as it may seem if you really want the real ones you may need to consider a date change and have the wedding 4 weeks earlier...

Daffs are lovely- bright happy and smell nice! Go for it!

Why don't you ask your guests to wear fake daffodils? I'm sure there's a charity with daffodils in their logo but I can't remember which one. That way you still get daffodils in there and also help a charity out
