OPEN FIRE is going - GAS or Wood Burning STOVE???

We have a gas stove, it looks exactly like a wood burning one but obviously without the mess. We had it installed for powercuts it heats the room and you can cook on the top it you really wanted to. We had a power cut last week and we were lovely and warm even though it was really cold and windy outside.0
