Looking for a bit of advice please. Long story but I'll cut it short!
Ordered a phone (samsung galaxy europa) from o2 web site on Wed 13th July to be delivered on Fri 15th. Money taken from me on Thurs 14th, as yet still no handset.
Called o2 on Sat and was told phone out of stock but would receive a call on Mon to offer an alternative. No call...I called them on Mon evening and was told that that the call would be coming but was not guaranteed to be on Monday as they were calling people FROM Monday as as yet they didnt know what the alternative was to be. Also told me that there were in excess of 450 people who had not received their phones.
Still waiting on said call.
Called them again today and they said I could have a refund which is all fair and well BUT it will take 7-10 days for me to get the money back!
No offer of an alternative phone.
So really what Im asking on here is...what do I do?
Am I right in thinking that no monies should have been taken from my account until the goods were dispatched, is this not common practice? Also is it normal for a refund to take so long, they have already had my money for a week!
Any advice greatly received

Again, there are no any real reasons (except their inability to work efficiently) for such long delay, but there are no any legal requirements to do this faster.Also is it normal for a refund to take so long, they have already had my money for a week!0 -
Finally got it sorted. They are sending me a Samsung galaxy mini as a replacement. Dont know if this is a good deal or not but I need a phone, feel like my arms been cut off at the moment!0

Using CPW prices, you have got a better deal. Also Europa has reported problems on the net.0
