Can a Halifax customer use Royal bank of Scotland services?

Hi, I am a Halifax customer but have no local branch, does anyone know if I can pay money into my Halifax account at the royal bank if Scotland because they merged a few years ago and have a hbos near me.

Halifax has nothing to do with RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland), its Halifax and Bank of Scotland, so if you have a Bank of Scotland branch near you, I believe you can pay into a Halifax account there

Royal Bank of scotland and Natwest are linked.

You can also use a Lloyds TSB branch or Post Office.

You cannot pay a credit into a Halifax account at a LTSB branch and vice versa.

Yep, just like Barclays and Santander are seperate banks.
