You need to change you solicitor as well. There is no freedom of speech legislation and if s/he doesn't realise that in cases of suspected money-laundering the bank isn't allowed to alert you of any suspicions it's time for a return to law-school.

the bank isnt allowed to alert someone to money laundering

That's what I said, and a solicitor should have advised his/her client of that fact.

  • They recently disappointed me stalled my business after my account was compromised by a prospective client who turned out to be a fraud and used my bank account details after invoiced him for fictitious deals resulting in my receive illegitimate wires on three occasions within the same week. After i called them to request that they return those wires to the remitter i was told it couldn't be done unless i visit HSBC branch in Hong Kong, I told them i was out of hong kong far away on holidays in Africa, yet they froze my bank account and reported me to the police after i was the same person who informed them of those 3 suspicious wires.. Anytime i called them they advice that i wire the monies back, though i was able to wire 2 of the wires back to it source i could not do that for the third wire since i could not trace the source of the third wire. Instructed them several times of phone to return it but was met with an impossible answer. yet they suspected me instead.. When all this is over i will definitely not bank with them anymore, my business is not safe with them. Now i am bank to china and getting ready to meet with the local police to offer my evidence and statement to support my claims of not being part of this whole illegitimate deal with my bank account.

What has the bank done wrong????

You were at fault and to expect the bank to return fraudulent money back to sender makes you look as guilty as anything....

Yes. Highlight the transactions to the bank. Then let them and the police deal with them.... Simply asking them to return means they and you would be complicit in reporting and preventing further fraud.

    What fault exactly?

So, if I receive some money by error and want to return them, I am 'as guilty as anything'?

Somebody in Africa dealing with a far east bank account? False invoices, fraudulent funds? Something sounds fishy here.

Care of what? My bank details are easily available to many random people around. In case of the OP the details were on the invoice and were used by the client. I know, this doesn't make much sense, but it's the only information we know and it's not sufficient for jumping to conclusions and accusing the OP.

And no, I don't know what you mean and I don't think that any medication will help me to read your mind.
