Hii,
I realise everyone is being sensible and obviously the long term solution will be to get your finances in order. But this is not going to get you through this month. The only way I can see for you to get any money if you can't borrow it from friends or ask for an addvance at work is to borrow from either one of the payday loan people or from provident. You will probably find that they will only give you about £500 but it may be enough for now. You may also have to try asking your childminder if you can owe her this months.
The most important thing you need to do is to write down all your outgoings and income and work out a sensible budget.
You mentioned that you had a debt to pay that may end in court. If it is Council Tax then you would be suprised how flexible they are in accepting payments. Ring them and see.
Good Luck and just remember it's only money, things will work out in the end.
Hope this is of some help.0 -

Don't you even dare!! :mad::mad:
Sucessfully resolving a debt problem never starts with borrowing more at an extortionate rate!
OP, have you spoken your husband about the problems you are facing this month? Share the problem with him and see if he can help short term!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Try not to do anything drastic. Have a look at http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ and see what they can do for you. Lots of people have their lives changed by someone helping them take control of their debts. I'd also recommend the debtfreewannabe board, put down what your income is and your outgoings, people are so nice and so willing to help. Best of luck in getting it all sorted out.0

They generally keep their finances separate, but desperate times and all that?

I'd like to know how payday loans or home credit 'extorts' money from people.
These companies are probably the most viable option for the poster and provide an invaluable service0 -

Surely reducing the outgoings would be more beneficial than borrowing more money regardless of who we're borrowing from. I think thats what mrcow is suggesting rather than borrowing more money and having to owe yet another person/company, when we clearly cant afford to pay what we already owe.

I suggest that perhaps a dictionary may be in order as you seem to be getting in rather a muddle?
I said that their rates were extortionate.
I did not say that they "extorted" money from people
As for them being the "most viable" option for the OP, all I can say is thank goodness there's a wider selection of opinions on this site that that one!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
