Help purchased this from cpw on mon put in my vodaphone sim on payg uses at least £1 per dya without making calls or sending texts just received 6/10 texts and a few calls any advise please.

    All smartphones use data routinely without asking you. Depending on your usage and on what you actually want you can:
    • switch the data off in your phone;
    • ask the network to disable data for your account;
    • change the provider (e.g. 20p/day for up to 20Mb at giffgaff);
    • switch from PAYG to pay monthly (sim-only tariffs with data are available from £6/month).

    Or change to a Pay and Go tariff that has free or inclusive data. For example O2 and Vodafone both do a Text and Web tariff with 500megabytes of free data when you top up.
