carphone warehouse

my wee boy got money as part of his xmas and wanted to buy a new phone with bluetoothh and all that.lol... so we went down to our local carphone warehouse aqnd he bought the motoroler razer v3 but with it you had to buy 20pounds credit, so we did this and the guy in the shop told us that was it , and that it would take 7 days for the credit to be on the phone. well i have kept calling 150 to see if his credit was on the phone , and to my shock and horror the bloody phone wasnt even registered, the air was blue and i bet the guy who sold me the phone his ears would have been burning, so my wee boy now has to wait another 7 days, and u know what kids are like it's xmas and he wants to use his new phone...

rant over.lol:mad:

  • Pretty standard for CPW these days, and only getting worse in my experience.

    Dont worry....

CPW dont register the handset with t-mobile. thats your choice... They will take your details for your warranty.

Before xmas they had problems with top-ups - The top-ups should be applied within 7 days normally. If it hasnt happened go back to the store and they can resolve it for you. Not T-mobile who are at fault.

I was just going to post about this too. We bought a v3 t-mobile same deal as OP etc. This was bout end of nov, well come week before xmas I still had no credit so my OH rang them and said it would be put on in 48hrs, still no credit, so rang again and my OH asked for money back so today we received a cheque for £20. (I really didn't think it would come). Anyhow its defo worth asking for credit money back! Only prob I now have is trying to unlock the bloomin thing, my sis bought exact same phone from CPW and hers was unlocked, but they've locked mine! :-(
