Best time to book flights- March 2012 to Dublin

I was hoping to use airmiles but the dates we want are all booked. We want to go for Paddy's day and have found flights for around £80 return each from Southampton which seems reasonable. I was just wondering if I should go ahead and just book or if there is any benefit in waiting? It's with Flybe.

Thanks

Lesson to self- don't leave it til the prices start rising.

I take it there is no chance of prices coming down/ a sale??

There is a chance but you want to travel on a Bank Holiday in Ireland when many others will want to do so and with an airline whose planes only have 78 seats. Therefore your chances are small, once you book stop looking, FlyBe will send out endless sale notices in the next 6 months but the fares are unlikey to fall around March 17.
  • For years, this low-lying, sun-drenched Cycladic island has welcomed the jet- set. The beaches on the south shore of the island have the best sand, views and wind protection and a few, including the famous Paradise Beach, are known as party beaches; others, such as Platis Gialos and Ornos, are quieter and more popular with families, whilst Agios Ioannis lies in a dramatic bay and featured in the film ‘Shirley Valentine'. Mykonos Town, the capital of the island, is regarded as one of Greece most glamorous destinations. With its skyline dominated by a hill lined with four white windmills, its Old Town is a labyrinth of narrow, winding cobbled streets lined with white-washed cubic houses with flat roofs and blue wooden shutters and balconies. Countless celebrities have passed through, including, most recently, Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier; all enticed by the countless chic bars, tavernas, boutiques and art galleries.Allmykonosvillas.com

All the same, I would still recommend taking an umbrella when visiting Dublin.

Yeah think I'm just going to book it. I'm not too bothered by the price but hate feeling swizzed when sales start. I am now reassured it's unlikely to come down
