Of course you can do it for a lot less than £100 but its a good figure to work with, ideally you'll come back with a fair bit.

It really does come down to the weather though, especially if you have kids. We were spending on average around £30-£50 a day when we went away in May but the weather was reasonable. We spent £70 on a really wet day!!. Its better to have too much than find you have ran out of cash halfway through because you've either had to pay out getting into things or things are more expensive than you anticipated.

Do your research before you go so you know what you want to go and see, you should be able to find entrance prices etc online too that will help with your budget.
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

Im back and had a brill time. Only spent £250 on food and fun and £72 on petrol!!! We went crabbing (free) on beaches (free) looking round castles (free) in the pool (free) swimming in the river (free) parking on the harbour after 6 was free, found an asda, tesco and a morrisons. Took our own drinks and picnic to the pool/beach/castles. I did pay to go in Portmerion (£27 family ticket and we had an ice cream each £6), meal at poolside bar was £22, pizza take out was £18, meal in a cafe was £14, cooked 2 nights (took stuff from home) bacon and eggs every morning (took from home) chippy £16, slap up meal on last day £60!!! (starters main and drinks) alcohol in club house £40...rest was spent on bits n bobs.

Kids had their own spending money of £75 each but 1 brought £60 back and the other brought £80 back!!! (he kept on winning on fruit machines in the arcade) haha
