Could someone tell me if the Forum car park in Wythenshawe is definitely free for 3 hours?

It says free for 3 hours here!

Seems you can blame the banks for this as well!

Don't leave site though, and go away and surf on another site while you're still logged into this one. That's a contravention.

You're looking at £60 minimum, or £80 if not paid within 14 days.

Or I get Judges Demand to come round and cease your TV from your house.

It was quite funny in about Feb time on pepipoo judges demand wrote to some and Included print out from pepipoo. They were told to go where the sun don't shine
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

i will need to check next tiime i am there, but if ur there before me it should say on the signs in said car park, even so dont worry if you did get a ticket (not) you have not because its fake,UNLESS the council have taken over the running of the car park since i was last there.then if you did get a ticket, it would be genuine,i prob wont be there in the next few weeks, sorry.so its prob best if u look yourself, post back findings by all means.

Some car parks say it's OK to leave the site and some don't. Looks like that's a Council car park?

Which company or Council is stated on the new signs? Have a close look. Does the sign state 'Parking Charge Notices' or 'Penalty Charge Notices'?

    There is a BIG difference!

If Council, then ask the Council for a copy of the Parking Places Order they have set up for this car park. Then you will see the terms (don't just read the signs, read the Order). It's a public document so you can just ask for it and see a copy for free. Email is fine too, just ask for it.

If private, then pay the P&D fee but don't pay the stupid amount if ever you get a fake PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I dont know if it's council's or not. Just want to ask people who used this car park before.

That would be a bit pointless wouldn't it, in the light of the link already posted which shows that they were about to change the rules?

Look on Google Street View as long as it hasn't changed. That's what I sometimes do before visiting a new town.

Here you go, looks like unrestricted residential roads at one end of Rowlandsway. LINKY. If that's the wrong end then move the yellow man to have a virtual tour along to where you want to be. There's an Asda multi storey car park but I suspect it would be less than 3 hours and seems to have barriers.

Have a virtual look around! :)
