I was just flicking channels and there was Martin on the Tonight programme. I've always known that this is the guy who (directly or indirectly) stopped me from carrying on down the debt path before the point of return and losing my house. .

Wondering what I can give back, it's only a small idea, but I thought it might be a useful to have a Testimonials Sticky at the front of the site, where established users who have got results/made changes can say thanks and tell of their achievements. It'd be nice for us to give something back and it would be inspiring for new visitors to read, encouraging them to join us. I dont think an open thread would work, as it would need to be monitored too much, but perhaps emails from people who have been members for a certain amount of time could be selected by the MSE team to be added?

I like this idea Dee, bit like a visitors book and if its on the Main Site it would be seen by the many people who don't visit the forums and perhaps make them think "hey I can do this".

The "testimonials" could maybe be changed on a monthly basis highlighting different areas of savings made, bit like the board of the week that is in the email.

Its something that could be incorporated in the new site redesign?
