Any pre-pay travel money cards that I can collect in-store?

I go out to the US for three weeks on Saturday, and have only really now (3 days before!) started to think about money (typical last-minute!). I've read the guides on this site that suggest a pre-paid credit card might be the best way to spend money safely abroad, but the best deal cards seem to require that they can be delivered to you via mail rather than picking up at a bank or post office or similar, and obviously as my departure is imminent this isn't an option for me.

I notice Post Office have a pre-pay card you can pick up from their branches, which might be useful for me, but the deal isn't quite as good as the other cards I've seen on here - is this my only option at this last-minute stage??
