TV, DVD Recorder and NTL set-top box connections

If you have no aerial then you can watch/record ONLY the programme that your NTL box is set to. If you want to have TWO programmes available simultaneously, you'll need a second NTL receiver or an aerial (and preferably a Freeview receiver if the transmission is available in your area).0

buying a DVD recorder isn't going to suddenly allow your NTL box to output two channels though. At best you should be able to record something from the NTL box to your HDD whilst watching a recording on HDD(or a DVD). The manual should detail if the feature is available0
