Migration from NTL to a BT line advice

Options
Hi, has anyone got a fail safe method of migration for a broadband and telephone package (including existing telephone number) from NTL to BT and then to Tiscali as main provider - so as not to have a prolonged break without broadband etc.

It appears that the requirement for a BT line first before the Tisacli package is issued is the problem here. Am I correct - have you been through this scenario?

Thanks Mark

I took an ntl number to BT. the problem then is that certain broadband providers will tell you its an ntl number and they cannot provide broadband service from it. The software they use won't accept its a transferred number. Ntl gave me an offer of a years half price broadband to stay with them, even though the phoneline moved to BT, so I succumbed.

Hi, that's something I had not considered - sounds like a matter for Ofcom - if only there was a strong regulator in these matters?
