my boyfriends reply when i asked him what present he was getting me was 'weve just had a big wedding i think that was a big enough present'! i hope hes joking:o:rotfl:Idiophreak wrote: »Like...a nice ring, maybe? :PI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
i no im always the smutty one so i will continue that
why not do a boudiour shoot and give her the pics in the morning (oooo would be nice with a top hat if your wearing one)
maybe a calander of next year with pictures of you and your anniversary date circled
ummmm lots of people like getting mugs with mrs and her new surname on
maybe if you are crafty you could make her a beautiful box as a wedding day memories box and put everything in it from the day (give it to her the next day)
any little stupid things between the 2 of you eg i call my OH rabbit so am hunting for a rabbit cufflink
maybe a blow up man doll (this isnt as bad as it sounds) dress him up in your clothes and get someone to sneak it in to her bedroom before she goes to sleep with a really sweet note along the lines of i hope he will keep you company tonight but from tomorrow we will never be apart (maybe a bit smarter than that lol)
xxxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -

was expecting jewellery etc as answers, suprised no-one has mentioned lingerie or something along those lines.
Thanks for replies so far!0 -
If you want a jewellery related gift you could buy something like a pandora charm bracelet and add a charm to represent the wedding....and add a charm on other significant dates too...1st anniversary..1st christmas as married etc etc..that way you will always not be stuck for a present as you could give her another charm and the bracelet will represent your life together...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Lingerie is difficult - she will probably already have chosen her wedding lingerie as a .... ahem... gift to you?
You could get her a "just married" bikini or knicker set she can wear on honeymoon??:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
Lingerie is definitely more the groom thinking about himself than his bride.
I like the jewellery ideas. I think a nice little present would be name and address stickers with your new name (presuming your fiancee is taking your surname). Vistaprint a great range and you can usually get them free (just pay the postage). Not a major gift to treasure but a nice thought.0 -
my friends husband works away and gave her a vibrator "for those lonely nights" lol...
not everyones tastePassing on my wisdom means there will be more stupid people in the world.:rotfl:0 -
I agree with everyone that has said you know your bride better than us.
For example - alot of people are saying jewellery - well I don't actually wear much and I'm unsure whether I'll bother on our wedding day... so that'd be a waste of money. I don't wear pretty watches either (need a stop watch for work so a BabyG is my watch of choice).
So what would I like (shame I know he doesn't read my posts on here) would be a simple list of all the things he loves about me or all the things he loves that we've done over the last 13 years.
Something to make me grin like a cheshire cat would go down well.
