Gift(s) for my wife to be?

Hi,
I'm getting married in September & I'm now starting to think of something I can give to my wife to be on the day of or leading up to our wedding day!
There are probably topics on this already but I am just wandering if anyone would have any ideas to get me started or any of you previous brides wish to share your experience!
Thanks!

My BIL gave my sister some nice jewellery on their wedding day, I've heard of people being given watches, we know someone who was given a car (maybe OTT?
), some people like to give some nice chocolates (normally appreciated after the wedding diet
) or special treats for the honeymoon (show tickets, special days/meals out, etc) - and some people have done engraved ipods and things like that - basically anything the bride would like.
Personally, I think it's nice to try and do something with a bit more thought as well - make her something, put some effort into it, make it a bit personal...that's the kind of thing she'll remember...0 -
My husband bought me a bracelet to wear on the day which matched my necklace and earrings nicely
and also wrote a beautiful letter:lovethoug
I made a groom journal for him (along with lots of other pressies!) which went down really well. You can buy them here http://www.ohsocherished.co.uk/product/1057/296/deluxe_my_beautiful_bride_journal/74fabafcd81425c6c728bb8079c23a6c
but if your crafty and have the time you could make your own like I did and just put the questions in yourself about your relashonship so far.
I know I personally would be over the moon to recieve this as it is so special :T[STRIKE]Getting married to[/STRIKE] Married my soul mate on

Hubby gave me a beautiful diamond bracelet to wear on the day, which one of my bridesmaids gave me on the morning of our wedding, (cue lots of crying as i had no idea!!) and then bless im hubby also gave me a beautiful silk negligee to wear on wedding night, which he'd hung up in our wedding suite bedroom, which was lovely after wearing such a fitted wedding dress all day.

you could put together a little box of things like tissues, bubble bath, perfume, a cd for her to listen to with your favourite songs on it whilst she's getting ready it largely depends on whether you want to give her something she can keep afterwards or not:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012

in the favor boxes im goingto give us each an empty one and tell him he has to put somthing speical in it for me, and i will put somthing special in it for him i dont know what yet but somthing special then at the meal we can open them secretly togther and knowone will know what we are doing lol xAccept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue. Well you know your wife to be better than anyone (hopefully), but when we get married I would really like some piece of jewellery that I can wear often so I will always think of our special day when I where it. Something beautiful but understated so I can wear it to work or when I go out.
If that doesn't float your boat, how about something to tie into your honeymoon...a special outfit or a ticket for a show/meal etc.
If she's more sentimental why not put something special together like a small gift for every year you have been together that all have some kind of significance, or a memories box/book etc."More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them." - Harold J. I would buy a rose bush or a fruit tree and plant it together. It shouldn't cost a great deal, but will be a constant reminder of your wedding, a great story for the kids (and later generations!) and you'll get more pleasure from this as the years go by.
