I got mine from WHsimths. They had a huge cardboard display of them stuck by the door in ours. I doubt it will be in the normal magzine rack as the packets they come in are HUGE.0

I can't find one either! Eldest DD wants to learn to knit and 99p is a good buy for the first set (I *may* let her buy the second as well if the first one doesn;t have the ourl stitch!)
I cannot knit very well, so it will be a good thing to teach her and she has saved her own money to buy it. We have had the caht about the entrie series being a waste of money!
But we cannot find one anywhere!0 -
i wanted to buy it but couldnt see any anywhere! just local newsagents to check tomoz'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

The DVD has the purl stitch in it. I can't find the written instructions for purl anywhere, but it does have the instructions for moss stitch which uses purl. I brought mine in WH Smiths and was in a cardboard display stand.0

I'd recommend http://www.knittinghelp.com/. It's got lots of video instructions for both right-handed and continental knitting.0

Hey get yourselves to a knitting group, they are all over the UK these days, or you can start one yourself if none around.
I did a search on the internet when I started knitting last year and found that a knitting group was meeting in a pub just down the road from where I live!
Newbies are always welcome and there is always someone experienced at hand and willing to help. Through my group I have made some wonderful friends!

...and if anyone lives in or near Greenwich, the Meantime Knitters meet on the first Sunday of every month at the bar of the Greenwich Picturehouse, between 5 and 7 pm! No charge (but you probably need to buy a drink from the bar - they also do teas, coffees and soft drinks).
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
