Groupon Refund - Can I have cash refund instead of vouchers?

I recently complained about a Groupon offer I purchased for 4 chiropractic sessions. I wont go into detail about the problem but I have been advised by another Chiropractor and an Osteopath to report the person to the General Chiropractic Council.

Groupon responded within 24 hours with the statement below and if I am really honest I would prefer to have back my money. Where do I stand with this? Would SOGA be applicable?

I want to be able to respond firmly but fair and obviously quoting any particular part of SOGA. I can give more detail on the original complaint if needed:

"Dear XXX

I am sincerely sorry this deal turned out to be such a bad experience for you, thanks for letting us know.

I have forwarded your comments to all involved parties. As a young company we are always looking for ways to improve your experience and will do our best to make sure this doesn't happen again.

As a gesture of good will, I am happy to offer you a full a refund in Groupon credits.Groupon credits are valid for a whole 6 months and have the benefit of being instantly available for you to use toward your next purchase on https://www.groupon.co.uk.

Please reply confirming that this is okay and I will credit your account.

I hope this goes a small way to apologising for any inconvenience caused, let me know if there is any thing more I can do to help. "

I think it depends on whether you used any of the service or not. Reading between the lines I suspect you may have, in which case this is a fair and generous offer.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
