Bit of a shallow question, but, what effect would the much predicted Euro crisis have on exchange rates? In other words, should i buy my holiday Euros before or after the s*** hits the fan? (going to Portugal mid August) .

The fat cats with their noses in the eu trough can manipulate the value of the euro, they have too much to lose if the !!!! hits the fan..............by promising bailouts here, and no interest loans there, they are protecting their jobs at our expense, how otherwise could the exchange rate be so stable when everybody knows the euro is the cause of so much trouble and the european bank living on borrowed time.Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

Anyone who can predict currency movements won't be posting on MSE, they have no need to save money other than perhaps the odd million off their next luxury yacht or private island...0
