yes, i had to leave a message too. Dont forget to tell them. You dont know how you subscribed to this service, you dont want or need the service and you would like a refund.

thx - i will do. money has already been charged to my mobile account.
i left a message for them to ring me on my mobile. said i don't know how i got subscribed and wanted a refund.
as it's from america, i'll probably have to wait for them to get up and get to work! i've done 'stop' anyway, so i hope that's the end of the cost to me if they don't/won't get back to me.
it's an 0800 number - shouldn't that still be free to us, as we aren't dialling any international codes etc?

i dont know to be honest, hubby took charge of it for me but he put the whole thing on speakerphone so i could hear what he and she was saying. I think 0800 numbers are still charged on mobiles though. Both mine and my husbands phone contracts are in his name but yes he said the texts had already been charged.

had to leave another message but a very polite american woman called me back and has refunded me the costs of the sign-up i never asked for, without so much as a grumble. it seems even scammers do 'customer service' over there better than we surly brits!
if anyone else has been had by this, do text stop and do call them. leave a message, if you need to. and another if they don't call back after a while. people are getting there money back, via paypal, instantly.
