Also, if I open this account prior to my court date, will it be frozen?

I don't want to hijack this thread but I have a quick question about bank accounts declared on the soa firm.

I have 3 accounts with NatWest... 2 current (1 of them a basic one) and a savings account. The OR said he wouldn't touch my basic account but I've logged into my online banking and all are still there.

When does the or suspend the accounts? My interview was last Thursday, thought they'd suspend them by now!!

It is not the OR who freezes the accounts but the banks. It is very early days for you yet, sooner or later they will be frozen/closed.

Heard today that I have been granted my Coop account, whooo hoo! One thing has gone right for once :-) I'm aiming now for the 3rd October for my court date. This will give me time to save my br fees, I will now not pay my creditors, but it doesn't feel right I feel guilty.

Well I'm up and running with my new Coop account now, I have registered online too. It is pretty basic though isn't it! Felt kind of odd, one small step towards making a new start. Now wondering when to transfer all my DDs and my salary to it. Plan to go br early October so may leave it another month. I don't plan on leaving my current bank account overdrawn either.
