Cancelling CarphoneWarehouse O2 contract - How?
Options
I have a contract phone with CPW O2 that is coming to an end next Feb, I dont wish to renew the contract nor keep the number.
How do I cancel the contract? Do I just ring their customer service(any idea waht number I should call? ) or just send them a letter?
thanks.

You will have to write a letter - check the terms etc of your contract but you normally have to put it in writing 30 days before you wish it to end.Weight Loss - 102lb0

You will also have to call the O2 CPW customer loyalty department to get a Disconnection Reference Number (D.R.N.) before you write in. While you try to request a D.R.N. from them they will try and offer you the 'Retention deals' to keep you as a customer.
Be careful as they try to dazzle you with lots of minute and texts which you might not even need, also get them to confirm with you how long the contract will be and how long will you get the special discount/allowance.0
