C*cked up my flight booking with Monarch

I'm hoping someone can advise me.... we are flying to Spain with Monarch in August and I've just been on line to add our API only to realise I have booked my ticket in the name I am known as (Kate) rather than the name that is on my passport (Katherine). I got everyone elses right!!

On the Monarch website I can pay £100 to change it (which I don't really want to do). Does anyone know whether I am likely to be refused boarding due to this error? It's really worrying me

Give them a call. Some airlines will change an obvious error, as opposed to a name change, free of charge.

Thanks Luci. I'd missed their opening hours when I realised tonight but I will call them tomorow.

Yay!!

Just to let you know that the lovely people at Monarch changed my ticket name free of charge :j

They said it would normally incur a charge but it was obvious it was just a small change and not a complete change of person.

What a relief!
