I'd love a couple of Siamese too ! Always thought that they were so pretty. I just can't wait until the house is up to standard enough so that we can start to plan for the additions to the family
They are beautiful. But that's such a small part of their charm. They are funny and brave and fiesty and vcaring. One of mine is more of a home body...she enjoys gardening with me and some hunting close to home. The other is a fearless tiger in a small white body. She treks over to the farm yard with me (and the dogs), where she'll happily help round up sheep, tell the big white geese to go in and yell at the horses for being spookey on the yard. Together, on days its not raining they count the cows in and out from the dairy in the morning and afternoon..a very important job they believe. They are guard cats, growling at the door when someone knocks at it, then kissing the visitor to within an inch of their life when the door is opened. At night they snuggle down with us in bed and purr softly if you can't sleep and help keep us warm on bitter winter nights.
All cats are wonderful, all of them, but for me Siamese are just perfect beings.0

There is a very important down side with siamese and patchy other types cats: your dark clothes will have white hairs on them, you light ones will have dark hairs on them. No matter how hard you try. DH keeps his suits in the office, our good clothes at home are all kept in bags. We have hanging rails, but when we had wardrobes the cats merely thought them a brillant place to climb and sleep....spread out across hangers and our clothes!0
