My daughter shops in Tesco every week and often gets these money off vouchers whereas I never get them though I usually shop in Tesco every week too, except for the two five week periods I'm away on holiday. No logic.

But then again you may have stipualated with your Clubcard that you do not want 'offers'!??

• Apologies if this has already been mentioned but in my Tesco's you can use your Sainsburys vouchers against your shop. I was sent £12 off a £60 spend at Sainsburys and used them yesterday at Tesco's!

• I haven't had any Sainsburys or Tescos money off vouchers for ages. I got a till spit for £6 of £40 a couple of months ago but that is it. I haven't shopped there as much as I have been using Aldi and eating out of the freezer but hasn't made them send me anything!

On the latest Tesco petrol promotion "deals" at least two items, Nescafe and Nescafe Gold Blend 300g are 1.38 and .50 cheaper in Asda, sizes for other items may not be directly comparable. I also noticed that in at least one Tesco filling station petrol was about 5p dearer than in that of a local rival supermarket. With petrol prices changing so rapidly at present I wonder if this is a deliberate policy to be seen to be giving with one hand but in fact keeping the price artificially high on the assumption that few people will notice?

Nothing will get us back to Tesco after the petrol problem
last week, we got our voucher after paying more than we usually
would, only to find the petrol kiosk closed so usless to us. Back
to using Sainsburys and Morrisons .

I had a vaguely similar problem awhile back - some pumps not working, had to use a pay@pump one- so couldn't use the voucher.
I left a 'comment' on the Tesco.com/comments and got a moneycard sent to me - no problem.

I've never had any tempter vouchers from Mr T but I do shop there regularly. Mr S is very generous, I had a sheet of 6x£6 0ff vouchers and almost immediately afterwards had 4 x £4 off.
Used them in Mr T's ;)

Or have two clubcards and alternate each month which one you use.

My friend (doesn't work for a supermarket btw) has two Nectar cards and two Clubcards. One is for weekly/fortnightly shops and the other is for 'topping up'/getting the whoopsies shops, as she got fed up of not receiving any vouchers. About 10 weeks after she started on having two cards (the original card is now her big shop card), she received a sheet of £4 off £20 shops from Sainsburys and a £2 off coupon for a pack of cat food - even better as it was on offer at £3.

I know with Nectar, you can transfer the points between cards, providing they are both registered in your name as you may want to have all of your points on one card to redeem off the big Christmas shop.

I am not shopping much with tesco these days specific deals like diapers, clothes etc sometimes! I find Morrisons is offering much better deals. Tesco makes us spend more most of the deals are buy 2 at lesser price offers and I end up just stocking a lot and buying 2 of most stuff I would just need one anyways! Their voucher is good but I feel overall I spend less at Morrisons that means cash in my hand!

Our Tesco refuses to take anyone elses vouchers :( Had to throw a number of Sainsburys vouchers away.

Think it depends if there is a store close by that they count as competitors.
